Time. We all use it. We spend our days doing things according to time. Our days depend so much on time. How many minutes or hours we can devote to doing this or that. What happens we lose track of time? Often the things we need to get done in a certain amount of time do not get finished if we are not paying attention to the time.
Time. It runs our days and our lives. With out it we are lost. We grow up learning the inherent need to know what time of day it is. It tells us when its time to get up, when its time to work, to eat, to play and to sleep. It helps us count off the day, the week , the month and even the year.
In this day and age we can find time where ever we are. Its on our watches, our cell phones, our I Pads, our laptops, our car stereos, our tvs, our microwaves, our stoves, our alarm clocks as so on. But what will happen if time suddenly goes away? How will we know when its time to do things? Oh sure our bodies will tell us when its time to wake up, time to eat and time to sleep but how will we know how to manage the rest of our days with out time. Think about how would know when it was time for work or time to pick the kids from school it time was not around you every where.
Now look at all the ways you get the time from. In this day and age almost all of the ways you keep track of time runs off electric or batteries. How would you tell time if the power went out for a long time and all the batteries you had were now dead. There would be no way you could tell time.
If you have wind up clocks and watches then you will always be able to tell time. Modern contraptions are nice to have but they are not as reliable as the old way of doing things. Computers make it easier to keep in touch but they don't give you the personnal touch that talking face to face or even talking on the phone does. With computers you can't read faces or read voices. Modern clocks will always tell you the time, that is until the power goes out or the batteries die but have you ever really thought about what the old time wind of clocks and watches give you?
The simple act of winding a clock or a watch gives you a minute to relax, to reflect to feel. To know that life goes on no matter what. It reminds you that time is fleeting and that once lost you can never get it back. It reminds you to live life to its fullest and not to let a minute of it get away from you. When of if SHTF and the power goes out for a year or more then how will you know when its time to do what you need to do? No matter how many batteries you may have they won't last forever.
So you might want to invest is some windup clockes and watches. They might be had to find but you can find them. Once you have them you will always know the time. I have mine, have you got yours?
